Privacy policy

ExpensePilot is a free, in-browser business expense mock-data generator. This policy explains what happens — and what does not happen — with your data.

No data collection

The generator is plain JavaScript that runs entirely in your browser. When you generate expense entries, the randomness comes from your browser's crypto.getRandomValues() function and the output is built on your device. Nothing is sent to any server, because there is no server-side component to send it to.

No cookies or tracking

ExpensePilot sets no cookies, uses no analytics scripts, runs no advertising trackers and stores nothing in local storage or indexedDB. Your generated entries exist only in the page's memory; closing the tab discards them permanently.

Downloads stay local

The ".txt download" button creates the file in your browser via a Blob URL and saves it through your browser's normal download flow. The file contents never pass through our infrastructure.

Third parties

We share no data with third parties, because we collect no data to share.
